Daily Devotional 05/15
Psalm 107:20-21
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
We're all interconnected through trauma, pain, and sin. It can sometimes feel like we must bear the burden of the past. Do not be deceived, Satan wants us to believe in order to move on, we must do the work of healing ourselves.
Thankfully God has sent us Jesus Christ, the word of God who has healed us already!
Deliverance isn't casting out demons or evil spirits. True deliverance is through the word of Jesus that gives liberty and freedom from out struggles.
I'm so happy when I see verses like these in the bible. They reconfrim that God did it all through Jesus. Thank God he did not give us the responsibility of healing ourselves. He left all of that work to Jesus who completed the task!
