    Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)

22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Jeremiah the prophet went through so much trial and tribulation. He dealt with rejection, famines, grief, and hatred.

His words remind us that despite the challenges and hardships we face, it is God’s mercy that sustains us.

Yes, we may feel overwhelmed by our circumstances, but God's mercies prevent us from being completely consumed by them.

The verse continues, "because his compassions fail not." Human compassion can waver; people can let us down, and even our closest friends and family might not fully understand our struggles.

    But God's compassion never fails.

He sees our pain, understands our deepest sorrows, and is always ready to offer comfort and support. His love is constant, unwavering, and perfectly reliable.

Verse 23 tells us that every morning we are graced with mercy. No matter what happened yesterday, today is a fresh start, filled with new opportunities to experience His love.

This is a powerful reminder that God renews us every single morning. He's highlighting that he has an endless supply of grace and love.

At times we feel like weak in our faith. People let us down and things don't go our way. But we must shift our thinking so that we can stand firm on the foundation of God’s great faithfulness.

God will provide for us, guide us, and bring us through every difficulty.

Each morning, I want you to remind yourself of His new mercies and great faithfulness. Amen!
