John 8:36 (KJV)

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

Many people want to be free in their lives. They think doing and living however they want is true freedom. But the bible speaks about a different type of freedom,

This freedom that Jesus speaks of goes beyond physical or political freedom; it is a deep, spiritual liberation that only He can provide.

Jesus makes us free through His sacrifice on the cross, where He paid the price for all of our sins.

By accepting this, we are then freed from the bondage of sin, guilt, and shame. It’s not a freedom we can earn or achieve on our own; it is a gift that comes from believing in Him.

Before knowing Christ, we were slaves to sin. Sin controlled our actions, thoughts, and lives. But the belief in Jesus broke those chains. Through His death and resurrection, He allowed us to live a new life, free from the power of sin.

This doesn’t mean we will stop struggling with sin (our thoughts), it means that sin no longer has dominion over us. We are no longer its captives.

We must reject the lies that we are still bound by our past mistakes or current struggles. We must embrace the truth that in Christ, we are new creations. We have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us and it is victorious over the flesh. 

We must believe that we cannot sin once we accept the blood of the Lamb.

This is the battle that most call "spiritual warfare".

We can now think for others who are also struggling with the fact that they think they are still sinners. Our freedom in Jesus isn’t an excuse to live selfishly; it’s a call to live selflessly.

We can now preach this precious gospel to those around us. The fact that although we think we are sinners, we are actually set free from that bondage and made righteous through him.

This freedom is something we need to cherish and share with others. Many people around us are still living in bondage, not knowing that true freedom is available through Christ.
