    Jeremiah 33:3 King James Version

3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

I used to think prayer wasn't really important. I wouldn't get answered back directly and it was hard for me to even have a prayer life. Even in difficult circumstances, I wouldn't pray. It was this verse in Jeremiah that made me realize the importance of prayer. As saints, prayer is not just a spiritual discipline, it's our direct line of communication with God.

We can see the heart of God in this verse. He eagerly awaits our prayers, always ready to reveal His wisdom and guidance to us.

When we encounter challenges or situations that seem beyond our understanding, prayer should be our first response, not our last resort.

    BARS!

It is through prayer that we express our dependence on God, acknowledging that we do not have all the answers. It allows us to has humility and humbleness inside of our hearts. It also invites us into a deeper relationship with God, who desires to guide and comfort us in all things. This verse assures us that when we call on God, He will answer. This promise is for everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and have been washed, sanctified, and justified by His sacrifice. Because of Jesus, our prayers reach the ears of God, and He listens to us as a loving Father listens to His children. As believers, we are declared righteous through Christ, and our prayers are powerful and effective.

God promises not only to hear our prayers but also to "show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

God is giving us the cheat code to revealing his and unlocking his mysterious plans. Revelations are not something we can discover on our own, we receive them the more we pray and seek after God.

It is good that we do not know all things because it drives us to seek the One who does.

The fact that there are things we do not know is not a limitation but an opportunity.

It's an invitation to tap into the infinite wisdom of God through prayer. God delights in revealing His will to those who diligently seek Him. When we approach Him in prayer, He opens our eyes to see beyond our immediate circumstances, giving us insight into His greater plans and purposes.

As righteous people we can approach God confidently in prayer. As true believers, we receive joy and peace during prayer. Our relationship with God is secure because of Jesus, and we can boldly bring our requests, questions, and concerns to Him in prayer.

Reflect on your prayer life. Are you quick to turn to God in prayer when faced with challenges, or do you try to handle things on your own? God is inviting you to come to Him, to seek His wisdom and guidance in all areas of your life. Make prayer a priority and trust that God will hear you and reveal the things you need to know in his timing.

    Amen!!
